Pre-Sales Engineer – Wireless Networking

We are looking for a technically skilled and customer-focused Pre-Sales Engineer – Wireless Networking with expertise in Cisco Meraki solutions. The ideal candidate will support pre-sales activities, understand enterprise customer requirements, demonstrate technical solutions, and help customers integrate wireless networking solutions with their existing infrastructure.

This role requires a strong combination of networking knowledge, customer engagement, presentation skills, and business understanding.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as a technical subject matter expert for Cisco Meraki products, solutions, features, and benefits.
• Support technical pre-sales activities for new and existing business opportunities.
• Understand enterprise customer requirements for wireless networks and recommend suitable solutions.
• Explain how Cisco Meraki solutions integrate with existing network infrastructure and support future business needs.
• Prepare product documentation and conduct competitive analysis of networking solutions.
• Perform wireless network site surveys and provide on-site deployment assistance for large-scale implementations.
• Identify customer challenges and provide appropriate technical solutions.
• Collaborate with sales teams, prospects, and partners throughout the sales cycle.
• Deliver technical presentations and communicate solution benefits effectively to enterprise customers.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 3–6 years of experience in technical pre-sales, wireless networking, or network solutions.
• Knowledge of Cisco Meraki wireless networking solutions.
• Understanding of 802.11a/b/g/n/ac Wave 1 and Wave 2 wireless technologies.
• Experience or knowledge of wireless site surveys, requirements gathering, and deployment challenges.
• Strong understanding of networking technologies, including routing, switching, and firewalls.
• Knowledge of network security concepts, including content filtering and authentication methods.
• Ability to balance technical depth with business value.
• Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
• Strong customer-facing abilities and a problem-solving mindset.
