Key Responsibilities:

1. Production Planning & Scheduling

• Develop and execute production plans based on demand forecasts and sales orders
• Ensure optimal utilization of plant capacity and resources
• Coordinate with production, procurement, and quality teams

2. Inventory Management

• Maintain optimal inventory levels of raw materials, intermediates, and finished goods
• Monitor stock movements, slow-moving and obsolete inventory
• Implement inventory control techniques (FIFO, FEFO – critical in chemicals)

3. SAP S/4HANA System Management

• Utilize SAP modules like PP (Production Planning), MM (Materials Management), and WM/EWM
• Ensure accurate master data (BOM, routing, work centers)
• Generate reports, dashboards, and MIS for decision-making
• Drive SAP process improvements and automation

4. Demand Planning & Forecasting

• Collaborate with sales and marketing for demand forecasts
• Align production schedules with forecast and actual demand
• Manage demand fluctuations and supply constraints

5. Coordination & Communication

• Work closely with procurement for timely raw material availability
• Coordinate with logistics for dispatch planning
• Liaise with QA/QC to ensure compliance with industry standards

6. Compliance & Safety

• Ensure adherence to chemical industry regulations and safety norms
• Support audits and maintain documentation
• Follow environmental, health, and safety (EHS) standards
