PPC Engineer

Role & responsibilities

• Planning, scheduling, and coordinating with production to meet delivery targets.
• Hands on experience on Planning tools eg: HEIJUNKA, FIFO, Inventory Mgt. etc
• Responsible for customer & internal OTIF.
• Evaluating raw materials and equipment to ensure everything is in place for production.
• Reporting on the production status based on pre-defined matrix and any production issues to upper management.
• Handling production disruptions and productivity problems.
• Reservation of raw material and getting RM on time to shop floor ensuring no down times due to No RM.
• Preparing weekly/daily machine loading plan and reviewing on daily basis.
• Preparing daily/weekly assembly plan and reviewing on daily basis.
• Responsible for coordinating with CFT for timely updates and raising flags in right time to honour the demand.
• Preparing & assessing the capacity plan periodically.
