Job Summary

We are looking for a PPC Engineer responsible for production planning, scheduling, monitoring production activities, and ensuring timely availability of materials to meet production targets.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly production plans based on customer requirements.
• Coordinate with Production, Purchase, Stores, Quality, and Dispatch teams for smooth production flow.
• Monitor production plan vs. actual and take corrective actions for deviations.
• Ensure availability of raw materials, components, and consumables as per production requirements.
• Prepare and monitor production schedules and delivery commitments.
• Track WIP, inventory, and finished goods to maintain optimum stock levels.
• Identify production bottlenecks and coordinate with concerned departments for resolution.
• Maintain PPC-related reports, MIS, and production data.
• Support capacity planning, manpower planning, and machine utilization.
• Follow up on customer requirements and ensure timely completion of production schedules.
• Coordinate with vendors and internal teams for material availability wherever required.
• Maintain proper documentation and ensure adherence to company procedures.

Required Skills

• Good knowledge of PPC / Production Planning & Control.
• Knowledge of MRP / ERP / SAP will be an added advantage.
• Strong understanding of production planning, scheduling, inventory, and material control.
• Good knowledge of MS Excel and MIS reporting.
• Good coordination and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a manufacturing/automotive environment.

Qualification

Diploma / B.E / B.Tech in Mechanical, Production, Industrial Engineering, or a related discipline.

Preferred Industry: Automotive / Auto Components / Engineer
