Powerbuilder Developer

Role

Design, develop, and enhance solutions within Bunge's GrainSuite ERP ecosystem — a suite of integrated PowerBuilder and .NET applications supporting core enterprise business processes. Work closely with Business Analysts, SAP teams, QA, architects, and fellow developers to deliver new capabilities, integrations, and modernization improvements.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Citrix-hosted enterprise applications using PowerBuilder.
• Build integrations between PowerBuilder, .NET services, SAP, and external systems.
• Design, develop, and optimize PBSQL stored procedures and related database objects.
• Use Visual Expert and AI-assisted development tools to improve code quality, documentation, and productivity.
• Contribute to modernization initiatives improving maintainability, scalability, and integration.
• Work within Agile teams using Azure DevOps for sprint planning and delivery tracking.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/IS/SE or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of software development experience.
• 2+ years of hands-on PowerBuilder development.
• Strong experience with PBSQL stored procedures and database objects.
• Experience with Citrix-hosted enterprise applications.
• Experience integrating .NET APIs, REST, or web services.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Experience working in Agile development environments.
