Power Electronics Engineer

Role & responsibilities

• Analog and digital circuit design
• Power electronics fundamentals and circuit analysis
• Circuit simulation using LTSpice, PSpice or equivalent
• Knowledge of PCB design, layout considerations, and electronic manufacturing processes
• Experience with embedded hardware systems based on microcontrollers and microprocessors
• Hardware debugging, validation and root cause analysis
• EMC/EMI design fundamentals and compliance testing
• Knowledge of IEC, UL and product safety standards
• Experience with Altium, Cadence or equivalent hardware design tools
• Experience with DFM and DFMEA , Global Manufacturing sites

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Life Safety, Emergency Lighting or Power Management products
• Product qualification and certification activities
• Design for Six Sigma (DFSS)
• PLM tools such as Enovia
• ERP systems such as SAP
