About this role
Job Description:
- Design develop and maintain Power BI reports dashboards semantic models and DAX measures
- Develop end to end data solutions using Microsoft Fabric including Lakehouse Data Warehouse and Notebooks
- Build scalable Bronze Silver Gold data architectures using Fabric Lakehouse and Delta tables
- Develop data ingestion and transformation pipelines using Fabric Data Factory and PySpark SQL
- Design optimized Power BI semantic models using star schema relationships calculated columns measures and calculation groups
- Develop complex DAX for business calculations time intelligence KPIs and analytical reporting
- Implement Direct Lake Import and DirectQuery models based on performance and business requirements
Key Responsibilities:
- Optimize Power BI performance using DAX optimization query reduction model optimization aggregations partitioning and incremental refresh
- Implement Row Level Security RLS and security access controls
- Integrate Power BI with Fabric Warehouse Lakehouse SQL Server Azure Data Lake and other enterprise data sources
- Monitor and troubleshoot Fabric pipelines notebooks semantic models and Power BI refresh performance issues
- Work with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into analytical solutions
- Implement deployment and lifecycle management using Git integration deployment pipelines and Azure DevOps
- Apply data governance naming standards metadata management and workspace security best practices
- Experience with Microsoft Purview Fabric monitoring OneLake and Fabric capacity management is an advantage
Technical Requirements:
- Key Skills
- 3 5 Years of experience in Power BI Advanced DAX Power Query M Data modeling Star schema SQL
- Microsoft Fabric Fabric Lakehouse Warehouse Fabric Data Factory Pipelines
- PySpark Delta Lake Performance optimization Direct Lake
- Azure Databricks OneLake Microsoft Purview Azure DevOps Git Power BI REST APIs Fabric Copilot Azure AI
