We are seeking a skilled Power BI Engineer to design, develop, and maintain business intelligence solutions that provide actionable insights to business stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Power BI, data modeling, SQL, and data visualization.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop Power BI dashboards, reports, and scorecards.
- Build and optimize data models using Power BI datasets.
- Create and maintain ETL/data integration processes.
- Analyze complex business requirements and translate them into reporting solutions.
- Develop DAX measures, calculated columns, and KPIs.
- Collaborate with business users, data engineers, and architects.
- Monitor report performance and implement optimization strategies.
- Ensure data accuracy, governance, and security compliance.
Skills
Must have
- 6+ years of experience in Power BI development.
- Strong expertise in Power BI Desktop and Power BI Service.
- Proficiency in SQL and database concepts.
- Experience with DAX, Power Query, and data modeling.
- Knowledge of Azure Data Services is preferred.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Nice to have
- Experience supporting enterprise-scale BI environments.
- Microsoft Power BI certifications.
- Experience in Agile/Scrum environments.
