Power Bi Developer

Job SummaryWith the extreme growth rate of our company, teams, and customer base, we are looking for a PowerBI Developer to help our Business Intelligence team keep up with the needs of the business by providing data and reports to our various functional areas in a timely manner.As part of this team, you'll work with your team members, our Data Architect, as well as stakeholders throughout the company to build and maintain new reports and dashboards in Power BI and Salesforce, providing better access and visibility to our business data.You'll be working within our CRM, analyzing Sales, Marketing, billing, and product usage data. This position requires a consistent work ethic, strong attention to detail, the ability to gather requirements, and a customer-centric mindset.Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain reports and dashboards within Power BI and Salesforce based on business needs.
• Build and maintain Power BI data models, including relationships, calculated columns, and measures.
• Automate data refresh schedules and ensure reports are updated with the latest information.
• Work with data sources such as SQL databases, Excel, SharePoint, and external APIs to gather, transform, and load data for reporting.
• Work on tickets assigned through Jira as part of the Analytics Sprint planning process, providing progress updates and maintaining clear communication.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and gain a clear understanding of business requests.
• Manage and manipulate data and views to meet business requirements.
• Analyze existing metrics and reports to understand underlying filters and logic for recreating, improving, or consolidating reporting solutions.
• Help maintain the data dictionary, reporting index, and other internal documentation related to the reporting ecosystem.
• Provide feedback to Data and Operations teams regarding opportunities to improve data quality, integrity, and reporting efficiency.
• Conduct training sessions and provide end-user support for Power BI reports and dashboards.
• Stay current with Power BI enhancements, best practices, and new features to improve reporting effectiveness.
• Work with cloud-based business applications including Salesforce, NetSuite, HubSpot, and other platforms.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business Analytics, Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science, or a related field. Equivalent practical experience will also be considered.
• 4+ years of experience in analytics, business intelligence, reporting, or other data-focused roles.
