Power Bi Developer

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Power BI Developer to develop, maintain, and enhance enterprise reports and dashboards, manage BAU support, and ensure reporting performance, accuracy, and governance.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Power BI reports and dashboards based on business requirements.
• Build data models, DAX measures, and Power Query (M) transformations.
• Integrate and visualise data from SQL, Excel, SharePoint, and other sources.
• Manage Power BI Service / Report Server deployments, publishing, and refresh monitoring.
• Handle BAU support tickets, troubleshoot issues, and implement report enhancements.
• Collaborate with data engineers on data pipelines and reporting solutions.
• Ensure report performance, usability, data quality, and governance standards.
• Maintain documentation, data definitions, and reporting artefacts.
• Identify redundant or unused reports and support report rationalisation.

Mandatory Technical Skills

• 6 +years of experience in Power BI or BI reporting.
• Strong hands-on experience with Power BI Desktop and Power BI Service.
• Good knowledge of SQL and data querying.
• Expertise in DAX and Power Query (M).
• Strong understanding of data modelling, visualisation, and dashboard design.
• Experience supporting enterprise reporting environments.

Good-to-Have Skills

• Power BI Report Server experience.
• Knowledge of data warehousing and ETL pipelines.
• Understanding of star schema, relationships, and data modelling concepts.
• Awareness of data governance, data quality, and data cataloguing.
