Employment Type: Full-Time
Department: Data Analytics / Business Intelligence
Location: Goa for 6 months (Client Site), then Gurgaon
About the Role
We are looking for a skilled Power BI Developer with 3+ years of experience in developing interactive dashboards, reports, and data visualization solutions. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Power BI, DAX, Power Query, and SQL, along with the ability to understand business requirements and translate them into meaningful data insights.
Key Responsibilities

- Develop, design, and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards and reports based on business requirements.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand reporting needs and translate them into effective BI solutions.
- Create data models, relationships, calculated columns, and measures using DAX.
- Perform data extraction, transformation, and cleansing using Power Query.
- Write and optimize SQL queries to retrieve and validate data from databases.
- Develop KPI dashboards, analytical reports, and visualizations to support business decision-making.
- Connect Power BI with multiple data sources, including SQL databases, Excel, and other business applications.
- Publish and manage reports in Power BI Service, including workspace management, scheduled refreshes, and access permissions.
- Implement Row-Level Security (RLS) and ensure data accuracy, consistency, and security.
- Troubleshoot report performance issues and optimize dashboards for better usability and efficiency.
- Gather user feedback, incorporate changes, and provide ongoing support for BI solutions.
- Maintain technical documentation for reports, data models, and business logic.
Required Skills Qualifications

- 3+ years of hands-on experience in Power BI development and business intelligence.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Power BI Desktop and Power BI Service.
- Good knowledge of DAX, Power Query, data modeling, and data visualization.
- Proficiency in SQL, including joins, subqueries, aggregations, and data manipulation.
- Understanding of data warehousing concepts, ETL processes, and dimensional modeling.
- Experience integrating multiple data sources and transforming data for reporting.
- Knowledge of dashboard performance optimization and report troubleshooting.
- Understanding of KPIs, business metrics, and analytical reporting requirements.
- Good communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with business users, analysts, and technical teams.
