Power BI Developer

Job Summary

We are looking for a Power BI Developer to design and develop dashboards, data models, reports, and KPI visualizations that support business decision-making. The role will connect and transform data, create DAX measures, optimize models and report performance, validate data quality, and collaborate with stakeholders on reporting requirements.

Responsibilities

• Study, analyze and understand business requirements in context to business intelligence
• Design and map data models to shift raw data into meaningful insights
• Utilize Power BI to build interactive and visually appealing dashboards and reports
• Developing visual reports, KPI scorecards, and dashboards using Power BI desktop
• Develop and Maintain the Data Governance in Power BI
• Capable of implementing row-level security on data along with an understanding of application security layer models in Power BI
• Should be able to develop tabular and multidimensional models that are compatible with data warehouse standards
• Build multi-dimensional data models
• Should have an edge over making DAX queries in Power BI desktop
• Identify the requirements and develop custom charts accordingly
• The role will connect and transform data, create DAX measures, optimize models and report performance, validate data quality, and collaborate with stakeholders on reporting requirements

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in Power BI
• with at least 2 years of experience in ETL tools
• Strong Knowledge of SQL queries for better results and performance
• Hands-on in Azure Cloud environment especially with Synapse
• Have knowledge of database fundamentals such as multidimensional database design, relational database design
• Very good communication skills; must be able to discuss the requirements effectively with the client teams and with internal teams
