Power Bi Developer

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Power BI / Power Platform Developer to join Gentherm team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Power BI along with hands-on experience in Power Apps and Power Automate. Exposure to Databricks, SQL, and Azure technologies will be highly beneficial. This role involves designing, developing, and optimizing data-driven solutions to support business decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI
• Develop and enhance business applications using Power Apps
• Build and manage workflows and automation using Power Automate
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and translate requirements into technical solutions
• Perform data modeling, DAX calculations, and optimize report performance
• Work with SQL to extract, transform, and validate data from multiple sources
• Support data engineering or analytics workloads with exposure to Databricks
• Ensure data accuracy, security, and governance best practices
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployment activities
• Provide documentation and support for developed solutions

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience in Power BI (reports, dashboards, DAX, data modeling)
• Experience with Power Platform tools:
• Power Apps (Canvas and/or Model-driven apps)
• Power Automate (cloud flows, integrations)
• Working knowledge of SQL for data querying and analysis
• Basic exposure to Databricks
• Understanding of data warehousing and BI concepts
• Knowledge of Microsoft Azure (is a plus)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Good communication and stakeholder interaction skills
