Power Bi Developer

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards and reports.
• Gather and analyze business requirements from stakeholders.
• Create and optimize data models using Power BI Desktop.
• Develop complex calculations and measures using DAX (Data Analysis Expressions).
• Extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from multiple sources.
• Write and optimize SQL queries for data retrieval and analysis.
• Implement data validation, quality checks, and report testing.
• Monitor report performance and troubleshoot issues.
• Manage Power BI workspaces, datasets, dataflows, and security roles.
• Schedule and maintain data refresh processes.
• Collaborate with business users to provide data-driven recommendations.
• Document BI solutions, data models, and development processes.

Technical Skills

• Strong experience with Microsoft Power BI (Desktop and Service).
• Proficiency in DAX, Power Query (M Language), and data modeling.
• Strong knowledge of SQL and relational databases.
• Experience with ETL processes and data integration.
• Understanding of data warehousing concepts, star schema, and dimensional modeling.
• Knowledge of Power BI Gateway and Row-Level Security (RLS).
• Experience with Microsoft Excel and advanced analytics.
