About this role
We are seeking a skilled Power BI Developer to design, develop, and maintain business intelligence solutions. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in data loading, data transformation, data modeling, and DAX development to deliver insightful and scalable reporting solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop interactive dashboards and reports using Microsoft Power BI.
- Extract, load, and transform data from multiple data sources using Power Query and other ETL processes.
- Design and maintain efficient data models for reporting and analytics.
- Create and optimize complex DAX measures, calculated columns, and KPIs.
- Perform data validation, data quality checks, and troubleshooting.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather reporting requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Monitor and improve report performance and usability.
- Ensure adherence to data governance and security standards.
Mandatory Skills
- Strong experience in Power BI Development.
- Expertise in Data Loading/ETL processes from multiple sources (SQL Server, Excel, SharePoint, APIs, etc.).
- Proficiency in DAX (Data Analysis Expressions) for creating measures, calculated columns, time intelligence functions, and advanced calculations.
- Strong understanding of data modeling concepts (Star Schema, Snowflake Schema).
- Experience with Power Query (M Language).
- Good knowledge of SQL and database concepts.
- Experience in performance tuning and optimization of Power BI reports and datasets.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with Azure Data Services, Dataflows, and Power BI Service.
- Knowledge of Row-Level Security (RLS).
- Familiarity with CI/CD and deployment pipelines.
- Understanding of data warehousing concepts.
Experience
- 6-10 years of experience in Power BI development and analytics.
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
Mandatory Screening Criteria:
- Hands-on experience in Data Loading/ETL.
- Strong expertise in DAX.
- Experience in building end-to-end Power BI dashboards and data models.
