Power BI Analyst

Job Type: Full Time, Contract

Job Mode: Onsite (complete work from office)

Job Purpose

Develop reports for business users in Power BI. Responsible for maintaining all application and database accounts in central identification system (CID) to ensure separated accounts are disabled.

Responsibilities

• Supports Business Intelligence Software Systems including supply chain, operations and quality.
• Performs data analysis on in-house systems ranging from supply chain to operational and quality related systems.
• Engages and interacts with business users to identify requirements and develop documents for the reporting needs of the business; engages with business users to troubleshoot and resolve reporting issues.
• Develops reports for financial analysis and management reporting for supply chain teams; creates SQL-statement-based queries to facilitate data analysis.
• Diagnoses, documents and resolves software and reporting system issues identified by the business.
• Works with users to address ad-hoc data analysis requests; determines proper course of action; prioritizes tasks and responsibilities to properly manage workload.
• Troubleshoots data and BO application issues; fully analyzes impact and determines strategy for resolution; assists in implementation of solutions.
• Manages, maintains and administers servers and workstations utilizing BI and reporting software.
• Escalates top priority, production-critical issues to appropriate support staff.
• Makes recommendations of perceived solutions to potential problem areas and methods for improvement.
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications, Experience, Education

• Bachelors degree in CS, IT or related Technology field.
• 5+ years of Business Intelligence in IT field.
• Direct experience with BI/reporting tools.
• Experience with business requirements development and analysis.
• Database and reporting systems experience.
• Preferred experience with Snowflake, Azure and Power apps
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
