We are seeking a talented and motivated PostgreSQL Development Lead to join as a Technical Lead.
- Experience should have 8 to 12 years of SQL development.
- Design, develop, and maintain database systems using PostgreSQL.
- Write and optimize complex SQL queries to ensure efficient data retrieval and processing.
- Write and optimize complex PL/PGSQL procedures and functions to ensure efficient data retrieval and processing.
- Migration from Oracle to Postgres SQL for Stored Procedures, Packages and query syntax.
- Collaborate with application developers to integrate database solutions with front-end and processing applications.
- Analyze and improve database performance, ensuring system stability and scalability.
- Implement backup and recovery strategies to safeguard data integrity.
- Monitor database health and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
- Document database designs, procedures, and structures for reference and compliance purposes.
- Stay updated on new technologies and tools related to PostgreSQL and database management.
- Experience in data warehouse design and maintenance
- Experience in agile development processes using Jira and Confluence.
- Experience in cross-functional teams.
- Understanding on the SDLC.
- Understanding on the Agile methodologies.
- Communication with customer and producing the Daily status report.
- Should have good oral and written communication.
- Should be a good team player.
- Should be proactive and adaptive.
