PostgreSQL DBA

Title: PostgreSQL DBA

Location: Remote Mandatory Skills

• Experience writing, analyzing, and optimizing SQL for large-scale enterprise databases.
• Experience with

Amazon Redshift and/or

Amazon RDS PostgreSQL .

• Strong expertise in

PostgreSQL query performance tuning , execution plan analysis, indexing strategies, statistics, partitioning, and database optimization.

• Experience writing

PL/pgSQL stored procedures , functions, and database scripts.

• Experience with

Database Administration activities in PostgreSQL and/or Redshift.

• Strong understanding of

Data Warehouse architecture and

Star/Snowflake schema design .

• Experience with

Git , DevOps practices, and Agile delivery methodologies.

• Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and documentation skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with BI tools such as

Power BI and/or

Web Intelligence (WebI) .

• Hands-on experience with AWS technologies including

S3, Lambda, EMR, EC2, Kubernetes, Kinesis , etc.

• Linux development experience.
• Experience building and supporting

ETL/ELT pipelines.

• Python programming experience.
• Exposure to Big Data technologies such as

Spark, Hadoop, Kafka , etc. -

Educational Background Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related technical discipline (or equivalent practical experience).
