Roles and Responsibilities
- Manage PostgreSQL databases, including backup, recovery, and performance tuning.
- Ensure high availability of databases through clustering and replication setup.
- Monitor database activity using tools like pg_stat and troubleshoot issues promptly.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Strong understanding of PostgreSQL fundamentals, including data types, functions, procedures, triggers, and SQL syntax.
- 2-7 years of experience in PostgreSQL administration or related field (B.Tech / B.E. degree).
- Experience with Linux operating system administration (Ubuntu/Centos) and basic knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., Bash).
