Postgresql Database Administrator

Roles and Responsibilities :

• Design, implement, and maintain PostgreSQL databases on AWS Aurora clusters.
• Perform routine maintenance tasks such as backups, patching, and performance tuning to ensure high availability and scalability of the database systems.
• Collaborate with development teams to design data models, optimize query performance, and troubleshoot issues related to database schema changes.
• Develop automated deployment scripts using DevOps tools like PGAdmin or similar technologies.

Job Requirements :

• 10-20 years of experience in PostgreSQL database administration.
• Strong knowledge of MySQL database administration (optional but preferred).
• Experience working with Oracle databases is a plus.
• Proficiency in managing large-scale distributed databases on cloud platforms like AWS.
