Your Role
- Manage and administer cloud-hosted database environments.
- Perform database installation; configuration; maintenance; and health monitoring.
- Execute backup; recovery; and disaster recovery procedures.
- Monitor and optimize database performance; availability; and capacity.
- Plan and implement database patching; upgrades; and version migrations.
- Investigate and resolve database-related incidents; alerts; and service interruptions.
- Support security compliance activities; including user access management and vulnerability remediation.
- Collaborate with CloudOps; SysOps; Application Support; and Engineering teams on database-related initiatives.
- Develop and maintain operational documentation; SOPs; and automation scripts.
Your Profile

- 6 to 9 years of IT eperience. ServiceNowGit / Version ControlCI/CD Pipelines Networking (VPC; DNS; Routing)ALB Management Backup Recovery Release Deployment Support
- The role focuses on ensuring high availability; performance; security; and reliability of database environments running on managed cloud services.
- The individual will perform database administration activities including monitoring; backup and recovery; performance optimization; patch management; upgrades; and incident resolution while collaborating with cloud; infrastructure; application; and support teams to deliver resilient database services.
- The ideal candidate should possess strong expertise in relational database technologies and cloud-native database services; with hands-on experience in troubleshooting production issues; implementing performance improvements; and supporting business-critical applications in a 24x7 operational environment when required.
