Post Graduate Maths Teacher

Role & responsibilities

• Teach Mathematics to senior secondary students as per CBSE curriculum and guidelines.
• Plan and deliver engaging lessons using effective teaching methodologies and technology-enabled learning tools.
• Prepare lesson plans, assignments, worksheets, question papers, and assessments.
• Evaluate student performance, provide constructive feedback, and implement remedial support where required.
• Prepare students for CBSE Board Examinations, competitive examinations, Olympiads, and other academic contests.
• Promote logical reasoning, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills through innovative teaching practices.
• Maintain student attendance, academic records, progress reports, and assessment documentation.
• Collaborate with parents, colleagues, and school leadership to support student achievement and well-being.
• Participate in parent-teacher meetings, staff meetings, professional development programs, and school events.
• Contribute to curriculum planning, co-curricular activities, and continuous improvement initiatives of the school.

Preferred candidate profile

• M.Sc. in Mathematics from a recognized university.
• B.Ed. from a recognized institution.
• Minimum 5 years of teaching experience as a PGT Mathematics Teacher in a CBSE-affiliated school preferred.
