Post-Close Shipping/Investor Delivery Desk Specialist

Role & responsibilities

• Download complete Credit and Closing Packages from the Lenders LOS after loan closing.
• Review the package for completeness and ensure all required documents are available before shipping.
• Organize, index, and prepare loan documents according to Investor-specific stacking and shipping requirements.
• Upload loan packages and required documents to various Investor/Correspondent portals within the required timelines.
• Monitor Investor portal status and track loans through the shipping and post-purchase review process.
• Review and respond to Investor conditions/exceptions issued after the package has been reviewed.
• Research conditions and coordinate with the appropriate internal teams, processors, underwriters, closing teams, title companies, borrowers, or other third parties to obtain missing or corrected documents.
• Upload supporting documentation and clear Investor conditions within the required SLA.
• Maintain accurate notes and status updates in the LOS and/or tracking systems.
• Follow Investor-specific guidelines, document requirements, and shipping procedures.
• Escalate complex or time-sensitive issues to management when required.
• Maintain accurate tracking of shipped loans, outstanding conditions, aging, and cleared conditions.
• Ensure all work is completed accurately and within established SLA/TAT requirements.
• Protect borrower and company information and follow all applicable data security and compliance requirements.

Preferred candidate profile

• 2 to 5+ years of experience in US Residential Mortgage, preferably in Post-Closing, Investor Delivery, Shipping, or Loan Delivery.
• Prior experience with Non-QM mortgage loans is strongly preferred.
