Senior Finance Associate – Portfolio Analytics (Credit / SQL)

Overview: Worked with a global digital services organization supporting large US-based asset managers, specializing in credit strategies and private funds. Collaborated with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders to deliver high-quality financial reporting and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform portfolio and strategy-level analytics to support investment decision-making and portfolio monitoring.
• Prepare and maintain performance reports, track records, and portfolio dashboards.
• Analyze portfolio performance metrics, risk indicators, and investment trends.
• Support investor reporting requirements and respond to ad-hoc requests from internal and external stakeholders.
• Develop and maintain reporting workflows, databases, and analytical tools.
• Ensure accuracy, consistency, and integrity of performance data and portfolio reporting.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve reporting processes and operational efficiency.
• Utilize SQL and data management tools to extract, transform, and analyze large datasets.
• Assist in building automated reporting solutions using Power BI and related visualization tools .

Desired Experience & Skills

• 3 to 6 years of experience in Portfolio Analytics, Performance Measurement, Investment Reporting, or Credit Analytics.
• Strong understanding of private credit, fixed income products, and financial markets.
• Advanced SQL skills with experience handling large datasets.
• Proficiency in Excel and financial data analysis.
• Exposure to Power BI, Snowflake, Python, or other analytical tools is preferred.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• CFA, CAIA, or progress toward certification preferred.
