We are seeking a skilled Port and Shipping Sr. Mechanical Engineer to join our team in Vizag Gangavaram port. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical engineering, with a focus on the design and maintenance of mechanical systems used in port and shipping operations.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop mechanical systems and equipment for port and shipping operations.
• Conduct feasibility studies and analyses to optimize mechanical systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure mechanical designs meet operational needs.
• Perform inspections and maintenance of mechanical equipment to ensure reliability and safety.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications and maintenance manuals.

Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in mechanical engineering, preferably in port and shipping operations or container terminal.
• Strong understanding of mechanical systems and their applications in shipping and logistics.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
