Polling Executive (On Contract)

Job Purpose

• Telephonically conduct a survey for different commodities traded in the physical market at various locations.
• Develop and maintain rapport with value chain participants for gathering ground level fundamental information of different commodities
• Preparing periodic reports for internal circulation

Key Result Areas

1) Interact with value chain participants telephonically on daily basis to get information of different commodities

2) Ensuring the adherence to timelines

3) Gathering ground level fundamental information of different commodities

4) Carry out necessary adjustments, if required.

For eg. converting loose prices to ex-warehouse prices

5) Ensure all the conversation carried out with value chain participants are backed by proper voice recordings

6) Preparing periodic reports for internal circulation

7) Work on adhoc tasks/processes related to the function of the department

8) Complying with departmental SOPs and Exchanges rules and regulations

Preferred candidate profile

Educational Qualification

• Graduate

Experience

• 0 to 1 years of relevant work experience

Skills Required

• Basic knowledge of Ms office specially excel
• Knowledge of commodities market would be added benefit
• Working proficiency in Gujarati and Telugu would be added advantage

Functional Competencies required

• Basic knowledge and understanding of commodity market and Exchange ecosystem
• Logical reasoning
• Process oriented and ability to understand nuances of operations and business
