Polarion Developer

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Polarion Developer with strong expertise in Siemens Polarion ALM to design, develop, customize, and maintain application lifecycle management solutions. The ideal candidate will work closely with business stakeholders, product teams, and engineering teams to implement Polarion-based solutions, optimize workflows, and support traceability, compliance, and process automation initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, customize, and configure Siemens Polarion ALM solutions.
• Design and implement workflows, work item types, forms, dashboards, and reports.
• Integrate Polarion with third-party tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, SAP, Git, Jenkins, and other enterprise applications.
• Develop custom scripts, extensions, widgets, and APIs for Polarion.
• Create and maintain Polarion templates, LiveDocs, and traceability matrices.
• Support requirements management, test management, risk management, and compliance processes.
• Troubleshoot application issues and provide technical support to users.
• Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to gather requirements and propose solutions.
• Perform system upgrades, migrations, and environment maintenance.
• Ensure adherence to best practices, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.

Required Skills

• Hands-on experience with Siemens Polarion ALM development and administration.
• Strong understanding of ALM, SDLC, Agile, and Waterfall methodologies.
• Experience with Polarion APIs, scripting, and customizations.
• Knowledge of Java, JavaScript, XML, SQL, and REST APIs.
• Experience in workflow configuration and process automation.
• Hands-on experience with integrations involving Git, Jira, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or similar tools.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
