POD Lead Engineer

The Pod Lead Engineer is a hands-on software engineering specialist who leads a small, outcome-focused delivery pod of 4-5 pod engineers. The role combines deep technical contribution with day-to-day pod leadership, enabling faster delivery through AI-assisted/AI-orchestrated SDLC practices. Unlike a traditional team lead role, the Pod Lead Engineer operates in an adaptive delivery model where AI tools and agents are used across the SDLC to accelerate requirements understanding, design, code generation, testing, documentation, and release readiness. The Pod Lead Engineer is accountable for technical direction, delivery execution, and engineering quality, while maintaining high standards of security, compliance, and operational excellence.

Responsibilities:

• Will be working on GRC (Governance, Risk, Compliance)-based projects for own products and services and falls under the Digital Corporate Units team.
• The Pod Lead Engineer role combines hands-on technical work with leadership, avoiding pure management responsibilities.

Requirements:

• Exp level: 9+ years.
• Skillset: (Java with Python) + (React/Flutter) + AWS + CI/CD + AI in SDLC exp for a min of 9 years Java + React + AWS + CI/CD + AI (Copilot, Kiro).
• Currently working in a product-based org (not service-based).
• Mandatory: Looking only for product-based companies.
