PMO Analyst - AI, Gen AI and Data Analyst

Role Description Working with the Head – Strategy and MD’s Office, the PMO analyst will analyze organization-wide data, generate actionable insights, identify high-impact use cases, build rapid prototypes, create executive dashboards and support strategic transformation programs. The role supports Nelco’s enterprise-wide AI, GenAI, analytics, automation and low-code/no-code transformation agenda. Key Responsibilities 1. AI/GenAI Use Case Development and Implementation Identify and implement AI/GenAI use cases across productivity, support, sales, operations, knowledge and reporting. Build AI assistants, copilots, chatbots, knowledge bots, workflows and prompt/templates. Drive adoption of Copilot, Copilot Studio, ChatGPT Enterprise, Azure OpenAI or similar tools. 2. Prompt Engineering and Context Engineering Design prompts and context frameworks for research, analysis, reporting, summarization and decision support. Improve AI output accuracy through grounding, document Q&A, RAG and enterprise assistant use cases. Build reusable prompt banks and GenAI workflows for functions and leadership reporting. 3. Data Analytics and Insight Generation Analyze large datasets to generate actionable insights and leadership recommendations. Build dashboards, scorecards and executive reports using Power BI, Excel and Power Apps. Identify trends, risks, opportunities and improvement areas across business data. 4. Machine Learning and Advanced Analytics Support Scope ML and advanced analytics use cases such as forecasting, segmentation, churn, optimization and anomaly detection. Work with teams/partners on predictive and prescriptive models, including requirements, outputs and success metrics. Validate model outputs for business relevance and track initiative impact. 5. Low-Code / No-Code Application Development Build apps, workflows, approvals, dashboards, trackers, portals and automations using Power Platform, SharePoint and Dataverse. Digitize manual/email/Excel-based processes and embed AI/GenAI where relevant. Create rapid prototypes and support citizen development. 6. Strategic PMO and Program Governance Manage Strategy and MD Office-led initiatives with clear charters, milestones, owners and governance. Track progress, risks, dependencies, budgets and outcomes across programs. Coordinate cross-functional execution and prepare dashboards, reviews and leadership updates. 7. MD Office and Leadership Support Prepare MD/CEO-ready presentations, notes, dashboards, briefs and board/leadership review material. Conduct research, market intelligence, benchmarking and industry analysis. Structure business issues into clear problem statements, recommendations and executive narratives. Required Candidate Profile Education Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, Analytics, IT, Business Management or related field; MBA/postgraduate qualification preferred. Experience 3–8 years in AI/GenAI, analytics, data science, consulting, digital transformation, PMO, low-code/no-code or automation. Experience with senior leadership, Strategy, CEO/MD Office or transformation teams preferred. Telecom, satcom, technology, IT services, consulting, infrastructure, enterprise services or B2B exposure preferred. Technical Skills Required AI/GenAI & Tools: AI, GenAI, ML, LLMs, copilots, agents, RAG, vector search, enterprise AI use cases; exposure to ChatGPT, Copilot, Copilot Studio, Azure OpenAI, Gemini, Claude or similar tools. Prompt/Context Engineering: Prompt design, grounding, response optimization, reusable prompt libraries and GenAI workflows. Analytics: Advanced Excel, Power BI, dashboarding, KPI tracking, large dataset analysis; SQL/Python preferred. Low-Code/No-Code: Power Apps, Power Automate, Copilot Studio, Power BI, Power Pages, SharePoint, Dataverse; apps, workflows, portals and automations. Program Management: Stakeholder coordination, initiative management, dashboards, trackers, milestone plans and leadership reviews. Preferred Certifications Preferred certifications include Azure AI Engineer, Azure OpenAI, Copilot/Copilot Studio, Google/AWS/IBM/DeepLearning.AI AI or ML programs, Power BI Data Analyst, Power Platform, Power Apps/Automate, UiPath, PMP, PRINCE2, Agile/Scrum, SAFe or Digital Transformation certifications.
