PLM / BOM & Engineering Change Management Engineer

Role & responsibilities

Manage PLM workflows, engineering releases, revisions, approvals and implementation.
• Maintain and validate CAD BOM, EBOM, SBOM and coordinate EBOMMBOM alignment with Design/PPC/Plant.
• Drive ECR/ECN lifecycle, stakeholder coordination, implementation tracking and closure.
• Ensure BOM/data accuracy, configuration control, traceability and process compliance.
• Coordinate with Design, Vehicle Integration, Manufacturing, Quality and Plant teams for change implementation and issue closure.
• Identify PLM process gaps and simplify/improve workflows, reports and tracking systems.
• Coordinate with PLM vendors/IT for system issues, enhancements, testing and implementation.
• Maintain action trackers, ageing, escalations and clear ownership/timelines for closure.
• Support regular BOM checks and alignment between engineering intent and manufacturing implementation.
• Prepare MIS and management reports on PLM, BOM and change-management status.

Preferred candidate profile

Working knowledge of PLM and Engineering Change Management.
• Understanding of CAD BOM, EBOM, SBOM, MBOM and configuration control.
• Knowledge of ECR/ECN, engineering release and revision processes.
• Good Excel/data analysis and reporting skills.
• Working knowledge of automotive product development processes; SAP/ERP exposure is an added advantage.
