Role & responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

Develop and program PLC logic using Schneider TIA Portal / Step 7

Configure and commission Schneider PLCs (S7-1200, S7-1500)

Perform servo and stepper motor synchronization (multi-axis motion control)

Integrate drives (VFDs), servo systems, and motion controllers

Electrical panel wiring review and on-site troubleshooting

Develop HMI screens using Siemens WinCC

Integrate industrial robots with PLC systems (Ethernet/IP, Profinet, Modbus)

Commission SPM automation lines at customer site

Troubleshoot machine breakdowns and optimize cycle time

Coordinate with mechanical & robotics teams for complete automation solutions

Preferred candidate profile

We are looking for a skilled Schneider PLC Programmer with 5+ years of hands-on experience in Special Purpose Machine (SPM) automation. The ideal candidate must have strong knowledge in electrical wiring, servo & stepper motor synchronization, and integration of robotics systems. The role involves machine automation development, commissioning, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.
