Role & responsibilities

PLC Programmer & Industrial Robot Programmer | Industrial Automation

• Develop, modify, troubleshoot, and optimize PLC programs using Siemens, Allen-Bradley, or equivalent platforms.
• Design, develop, and maintain HMI applications.
• Develop, test, and optimize industrial robot programs using FANUC/ABB robots.
• Perform robot path teaching, calibration, offline programming, and commissioning.
• Troubleshoot PLC, HMI, and robotic automation systems.
• Integrate PLCs, industrial robots, sensors, and manufacturing systems.
• Configure IIoT edge devices and support MQTT/OPC UA communication.
• Support automation system testing, validation, and onsite commissioning.
• Maintain technical documentation and programming standards.

Mandatory Skills

• Strong hands-on experience in PLC programming.
• Experience in HMI programming and troubleshooting.
• Hands-on industrial robot programming experience.
• Knowledge of FANUC, ABB, or equivalent industrial robots.
• Experience in industrial automation and manufacturing environments.
• Experience in commissioning, troubleshooting, and system integration.

Preferred Skills

• Ford FAST and GVOSS standards.
• FANUC and ABB robotics.
• Python scripting and automation scripting.
• IIoT, MQTT, OPC UA, Ignition, or Kepware.
• Experience in automotive manufacturing automation.

Preferred candidate profile

We are looking for candidates with 79+ years of hands-on experience in PLC/HMI programming and Industrial Robot Programming, preferably from Automotive Manufacturing or Industrial Automation industries.

Candidates must have strong experience in PLC programming (Siemens/Allen-Bradley), HMI development, FANUC/ABB robot programming, commissioning, troubleshooting, and automation system integration.

Experience in robot teaching, onsite commissioning, and industrial automation projects is essential. Knowledge of Python scripting, IIoT, MQTT, OPC UA, and Ford FAST/GVOSS standards will be an added advantage.

Preference will be given to candidates with practical PLC and industrial robot programming experience rather than only maintenance, simulation, or design experience.
