Playwright Automation Tester

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Automation Engineer with 5 to 10 years of experience in test automation. The ideal candidate should possess strong expertise in Playwright, TypeScript, and JavaScript, along with hands-on experience in automation framework development, API testing, Git, and CI/CD tools. The candidate will be responsible for building scalable automation solutions and ensuring software quality through comprehensive testing practices.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Playwright, TypeScript, and JavaScript.
• Design, build, and enhance reusable automation frameworks.
• Perform UI, Functional, Regression, and API Testing.
• Integrate automation suites with CI/CD pipelines for continuous testing.
• Identify, report, track, and troubleshoot defects using defect management tools.
• Collaborate with Development, QA, and Product teams in an Agile environment.
• Ensure high test coverage and improve overall product quality.
• Participate in test planning, execution, and automation strategy discussions.

Mandatory Skills

• 5 to 10 years of experience in Automation Testing.
• Strong hands-on experience with Playwright.
• Proficiency in TypeScript and JavaScript.
• Experience in Automation Framework Development.
• Strong knowledge of API Testing.
• Experience with Git version control.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools.
• Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Hands-on experience with Jira or similar defect tracking tools.
• Exposure to test automation best practices and framework optimization.
• Experience working in cross-functional teams.
