Position : Playwright Automation Lead

Experience: 8 to 12 Years

Notice period: Immediate to 15 Days (Not more than)

Responsibility:

Technical

• Proven handson experience with Playwright (incl. migration from Selenium).
• Strong programming in TypeScript, JavaScript, Java, or C#.
• Automation of web apps, APIs, and endtoend business flows.
• Deep understanding of framework architecture & design patterns.
• Git sourcecontrol (branching strategies).

CI/CD & Tooling

• Jenkins pipeline development & maintenance.
• Integration of automated tests into CI/CD.
• Proficiency OpenText Octane, and testmanagement platforms.
• Experience with GitHub/GitLab/Bitbucket.

Automation Transformation & Migration

• Drive endtoend Selenium Playwright migration
• Assess current coverage & define improvement opportunities
• Design a scalable, maintainable Playwright framework with coding standards
• Build and prioritize an automation backlog focused on highvalue scenarios
• Define roadmaps and deliver incremental migration milestones

AIDriven Enhancements

• Identify AI solutions to accelerate testcase creation and test scripts to convert from Selenium to Playwright
• Use AI tools for selfhealing Playwright scripts and maintenance

Test Automation Development

• Create/maintain UI & endtoend Playwright test suites
• Develop reusable libraries, utilities, datadriven & BDD components
• Ensure parallel execution and scalability to shrink regression cycles

CI/CD & Quality Engineering

• Integrate Playwright tests into Jenkins pipelines with reporting & quality gates
• Embed automated testing in release & deployment workflows
• Monitor pipeline health,resolve failures, and support shiftleft testing

Tool Integration & Reporting

• Connect test results to OpenText Octane, and testmanagement tools
• Build dashboards for coverage, execution, and traceability (requirements test cases defects)

Stakeholder Collaboration

• Partner with Product Owners, QA Engineers, and Project Managers
• Contribute to continuousimprovement initiatives across the QA function
