Playwright Automation Architect

This role requires a strong technical architect who can drive automation strategy, mentor teams, establish best practices, and ensure scalable, maintainable, and high-quality test automation solutions.

Role& Responsibilities

• Architect, design, and implement enterprise-grade test automation frameworks using Microsoft Playwright.
• Lead multiple Playwright automation programs simultaneously across different portfolios and application landscapes.
• Define automation strategy, standards, governance, and best practices across projects.
• Establish scalable automation solutions that support CI/CD, DevOps, and Quality Engineering initiatives.
• Evaluate and recommend automation tools, frameworks, and technologies to improve quality and delivery velocity.
• Drive automation maturity and increase automation coverage across functional, regression, API, and end-to-end testing.
• Actively contribute to framework development, automation scripting, code reviews, and troubleshooting.
• Design reusable automation libraries, custom utilities, and automation accelerators.
• Develop robust Playwright automation solutions for complex business workflows and highly integrated enterprise applications.
• Lead and mentor automation engineers across multiple projects.
• Guide teams on automation framework adoption and implementation.
• Drive automation planning, estimation, execution, and continuous improvement.
• Conduct architecture reviews and automation health assessments.
• Ensure adherence to coding standards and automation best practices.
• Drive shift-left testing practices and continuous quality engineering principles.
• Build automation dashboards, quality metrics, and reporting solutions.
