Platform Software Engineer

We are building a modern private cloud platform by treating infrastructure as a software product. This role is ideal for engineers who enjoy solving complex distributed systems problems, building automation, and enabling developers through scalable platform solutions. You will work on Kubernetes/OpenShift-based platforms, develop APIs and automation, and improve reliability and scalability across hybrid environments.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop platform components, including Kubernetes/OpenShift operators and APIs
• Build automation and Infrastructure-as-Code using Go, Python, or similar languages
• Develop scalable microservices and platform services
• Improve reliability through monitoring, observability, and automated recovery
• Collaborate with application teams to enable self-service cloud capabilities
• Contribute to CI/CD and GitOps workflows
• Mentor team members and promote best practices in coding and system design

Qualifications ✅

Required

• 6–10 years of experience in software engineering, platform engineering, or SRE
• Strong programming skills in Go or Python
• Experience with Kubernetes or OpenShift
• Knowledge of distributed systems and microservices architecture
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools and automation

✅ Preferred

• Experience with tools such as ArgoCD, Tekton, Helm, or Kustomize
• Familiarity with observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, etc.)
• Understanding of service mesh concepts (e.g., Istio) and secure networking
• Exposure to hybrid or on-premise cloud environments
• Experience mentoring or leading engineering initiatives
