Platform Architect - Java

We are looking for an experienced Platform Architect to define, design, and govern the technical platform for a Java-based application ecosystem. The role will focus on platform architecture, DevOps, CI/CD, observability, SRE, environment strategy, and operational readiness. The architect will work closely with development, DevOps, infrastructure, security, QA, operations, and business teams to ensure the platform is scalable, secure, resilient, reliable, and aligned with enterprise standards.

Requirements:

• 12+ years of experience as a platform architect, solution architect, technical architect, DevOps architect, or senior engineering lead.
• Strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, REST APIs, microservices, API gateways, and integration patterns.
• Experience designing scalable, secure, and resilient enterprise platforms.
• Strong understanding of cloud, on-premises, and hybrid architectures.

DevOps and CI/CD:

• Strong experience with GitLab/Jenkins, including repositories, branching strategies, merge requests, pipelines, runners, artifacts, environments, approvals, and security scanning.
• Experience defining CI/CD standards, pipeline templates, quality gates, and release automation.
• Good knowledge of Maven and build automation.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Rancher, and cloud platforms such as AWS/Azure/GCP.

SRE and Operations:

• Strong understanding of SRE, observability, incident management, reliability engineering, and production support.
• Experience defining SLIs, SLOs, monitoring standards, alerting strategies, and operational runbooks.
• Strong focus on platform availability, performance, resilience, and operational readiness.
