Plant Operations Executive For Hazardous Waste Industry in Bargur

Position Title: Executive / Senior Executive Plant Operations

Experience: 3 to 7 Years

Location: Bargur - Krishnagiri site

Education: Graduate; Preferred: BE / B.Tech in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering

Objective

To execute day-to-day operations at the Industrial Waste Management (IWM) Project at the Bargur - Krishnagiri site. The role focuses on performing operational activities, maintaining strict ground-level safety and regulatory compliance, logging daily performance data, and supporting continuous process improvements under the supervision of the Plant/Project Head.

Key Responsibilities

• Daily Operations Execution: Execute day-to-day plant operations to ensure targets are met and daily throughput stays aligned with project KPIs.
• Safety & Hazard Monitoring: Implement and enforce ground-level safety protocols; conduct routine hazard walk-throughs, report incidents, and execute assigned corrective action plans.
• Environmental & Statutory Compliance: Maintain day-to-day compliance in the handling, transportation, treatment, and disposal of industrial and hazardous waste according to PCB norms and statutory regulations.
• Data Logging & Reporting: Collect and log daily plant operational metrics, track inventory, and maintain shift logs. Prepare daily/weekly operational reports for management review.
• Process & Equipment Efficiency: Monitor performance of waste treatment equipment and schemes; assist senior leadership in troubleshooting operational bottlenecks and implementing process improvements.
• Ground-Level Contractor Coordination: Oversee daily work of on-site contractors, service vendors, and floor staff to ensure adherence to operating procedures and safety standards.
• Cross-Functional Support: Work closely with maintenance, safety, and laboratory teams to ensure seamless shift transitions and uninterrupted plant workflow.

Skills & Competencies

Technical Skills

• Industrial Waste Operations: Functional knowledge of hazardous waste handling, incineration/treatment processes, and waste storage protocols.
• Regulatory Awareness: Working knowledge of Pollution Control Board (PCB) norms, Hazardous Waste Management rules, and basic industrial safety standards.
• Data & Reporting: Proficiency in MS Excel, data entry, and shift log maintenance.
