Plant Manager

Key Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end Aluminium Wire Rod plant operations, including production, quality and delivery.
• Oversee casting, rolling, process efficiency and yield improvement.
• Ensure safety, quality, ISO/QMS and environmental compliance.
• Manage production planning, maintenance, machine uptime and raw material planning.
• Lead hiring, training and performance management of plant teams.
• Drive cost reduction, process optimization and waste minimization.
• Coordinate with Quality, Procurement, Sales and Corporate teams.
• Prepare operational reports and ensure statutory compliance.

Mandatory Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelors/Diploma in Metallurgy, Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 8–10 years of experience in Aluminium manufacturing, with Plant Manager/Senior Plant Leadership experience specifically in Aluminium Wire Rod manufacturing.
• Mandatory experience in Continuous Casting & Rolling (CCR) lines.
• Strong knowledge of Aluminium Alloys – 1XXX, 6XXX & 8XXX series.
• Strong understanding of casting, rolling, plant machinery and production planning.
• Experience in team management, hiring and training.
• Strong leadership, problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Good communication and cross-functional coordination skills.
• Experience managing a plant of comparable scale/output.
