PLANT Manager + SALES

Role & responsibilities

• Take overall responsibility for day-to-day plant operations.
• Plan and monitor production as per customer orders and business requirements.
• Ensure achievement of production, quality, cost and delivery targets.
• Monitor plant capacity utilization and optimize manpower, machines and resources.
• Ensure smooth coordination between Production, Quality, Maintenance, Stores, Purchase, PPC, HR and Dispatch.
• Identify operational bottlenecks and implement corrective actions.
• Control production losses, wastage, rejection and downtime.

• Develop and execute sales strategies for packaging products.
• Generate new business opportunities and expand the customer base.
• Identify potential customers and market opportunities.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing customers.
• Handle key customers and understand their packaging requirements.
• Prepare commercial proposals, quotations and negotiate pricing within approved limits

Preferred candidate profile

A commercially strong and operations-oriented leader who can independently manage plant operations as well as sales/business development, with a proven track record in the packaging industry. The candidate should have strong leadership, customer management, negotiation and profitability improvement capabilities.
