Plant Manager For Gypsum Board Factory

1. Plant Operations: Oversee end-to-end operations of gypsum board production line - mixing, forming, drying, cutting, packing

2. Commissioning: Lead installation, trial runs, and commissioning of new plant & machinery imported from India/China

3. Production & Quality: Ensure daily production targets, quality standards, and cost efficiency. Minimize waste and downtime

4. Team Leadership: Manage 50-150 staff including engineers, supervisors, operators, maintenance, QC, and HSE

5. Maintenance: Plan preventive maintenance for crushers, calcining kettles, board lines, dryers

6. Safety & Compliance: Implement HSE policies. Ensure compliance with Sierra Leone EPA, labor laws, and ISO standards

7. Supply Chain: Coordinate with procurement for raw materials - gypsum, paper liner, additives. Manage inventory

8. Reporting: Weekly/monthly reports to HQ on production, costs, KPIs

Required Qualifications & Experience

9. Contract is 2.5 years with Medical , lodging boarding, visa, work permits and return air fares provided to India.

- Knowledge of gypsum calcination, board forming machines, drying ovens, PLC/SCADA

- Strong leadership, P&L responsibility, and cost control experience

- Experience working in Africa/Middle East/India is a big plus
