Plant Manager (Biscuit)

Key Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end biscuit manufacturing and plant operations.
• Plan and achieve daily/monthly production targets while maintaining quality.
• Ensure optimum utilisation of machinery, manpower and raw materials.
• Monitor production efficiency, OEE, yield, wastage and downtime.
• Coordinate with Quality, Maintenance, Stores, Procurement and Dispatch teams.
• Ensure adherence to GMP, HACCP, FSSAI, hygiene and food safety standards.
• Identify production bottlenecks and implement process improvements and cost optimisation.
• Maintain production reports, MIS and operational documentation.

Key Skills

• Strong hands-on experience in biscuit manufacturing.
• Experience managing biscuit production lines and bakery equipment.
• Strong knowledge of production planning and plant operations.
• Understanding of OEE, yield, wastage and cost control.
• Knowledge of GMP, HACCP and FSSAI.
• Strong team management, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• 8-15 years of experience in biscuit manufacturing preferred.
