Plant Maintenance Engineer

Role & responsibilities

• Manage overall plant, machinery, and building maintenance activities.
• Plan and execute preventive maintenance schedules to minimize machine breakdowns.
• Ensure timely maintenance of machining equipment and production utilities.
• Monitor equipment performance and implement corrective actions to prevent major failures.
• Optimize maintenance costs through effective planning and resource utilization.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and statutory maintenance requirements.
• Coordinate with production teams to maximize machine availability and minimize downtime.
• Maintain maintenance records, spare parts inventory, and service documentation.

Qualification:

• Diploma/B.E. in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.

Experience:

• 1-5 years of experience in plant maintenance in a manufacturing industry (preferably fuel dispenser, machining, or engineering).

Skills:

• Knowledge of CNC/VMC maintenance.
• Preventive and breakdown maintenance.
• Electrical and mechanical troubleshooting.
• Building and utility maintenance.
• Basic knowledge of PLC, hydraulics, and pneumatics.
• Good problem-solving and communication skills.
