Plant Incharge (Production)

Job Purpose:

Responsible for safe, efficient, and quality-focused operation of the epoxy hardener manufacturing plant during the assigned shift, including manpower management, batch production, process control, equipment operation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Preparing shift schedule for Shift incharge and Plant operator.
• Providing process and safety training.
• Process management and co-ordination with quality department for smooth running of process.
• Planning for drum, IBC filling.
• Plant start-up and shut-down planning as per discussion with top management.
• Planning for procuring of raw material and packing materials.
• Providing requisition for raw material and packing materials.
• Raw material and finished goods stock management.
• Stock verification and closing based on physical and SAP quantity
• Management of safety and housekeeping in plant and surrounding area
• Manpower management
• Maintaining and preparing daily & monthly production data and report
• Daily production entry and closing in SAP
• FG storage planning based on filling requirement

Qualifications:

• Diploma/B.E./B.Tech in Chemical Engineering, Chemical Technology, or related discipline.
• Typically, 8 to 10 years of experience in chemical/process manufacturing, preferably epoxy resin, epoxy hardener, adhesives, coatings, or specialty chemicals.
• Experience with batch reactors and chemical manufacturing processes is preferred.
