Plant Head - Operations

Job Summary

Jash Energy Pvt. Ltd. is seeking an experienced and dynamic Plant Head to lead overall manufacturing operations, drive operational excellence, improve productivity, ensure compliance with quality and safety standards, and achieve business objectives. The role will be responsible for end-to-end plant management including production, maintenance, supply chain, quality, EHS, cost control, and people development.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end plant operations including Production, Planning, Quality, Maintenance, Supply Chain, Stores, Logistics, Engineering, and EHS.
• Drive Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, Productivity, and Customer Satisfaction targets across the manufacturing facility.
• Manage overall Plant P&L, budgeting, cost control, profitability, and operational performance.
• Oversee manufacturing of solar tracker components, torque tubes, structural steel components, posts, purlins, and related assemblies.
• Ensure achievement of production targets with optimum utilization of manpower, machine, materials, and infrastructure.
• Lead production planning, capacity planning, resource allocation, and shop floor execution.
• Drive Lean Manufacturing, TPM, Kaizen, 5S, OEE improvement, and operational excellence initiatives. turn10search8
• Improve manufacturing productivity, throughput, yield, equipment utilization, and overall plant efficiency.
• Drive inventory optimization, material planning, working capital improvement, and supply chain effectiveness.
• Strengthen vendor development, procurement coordination, subcontractor management, and logistics performance.
• Ensure compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, customer requirements, and statutory regulations.
• Lead quality improvement initiatives to reduce rejection, rework, customer complaints, and manufacturing losses.
• Monitor and improve key KPIs including OEE, OTIF, Productivity, Inventory Turnover, Quality, Cost, and Safety performance. turn10search8
• Lead preventive and predictive maintenance programs to maximize equipment reliability and plant up time.
• Support automation, digitalization, ERP utilization, and data-driven decision-making across operations.
• Collaborate with Commercial, Engineering, Procurement, and Project teams to ensure timely execution of customer orders.
• Lead customer visits, audits, certifications, and operational reviews.
• Build and develop high-performing teams through coaching, succession planning, performance management, and leadership development.
• Foster a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, innovation, safety, and customer focus.
• Ensure a safe, sustainable, and environmentally responsible workplace while driving EHS standards.

Education

• B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical, Production, Metallurgy, Industrial Engineering, or related discipline.

Experience

• Minimum 12 to 15 years of manufacturing experience.
• Minimum 5+years in Plant Head / Factory Head / Operations Head role.
• Proven track record of managing large manufacturing facilities and Plant P&L.
• Experience managing project-based manufacturing operations.
• Experience in a handling workforce of 500+ employees.
