Plant / Operations Head - Greenfield FMCG Manufacturing

Role Overview:
Looking for an experienced Plant / Operations Head to lead a greenfield FMCG manufacturing/semi-manufacturing facility at Wargal. The role will manage end-to-end plant operations along with supply chain, warehouse, logistics and distribution coordination.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead greenfield plant setup, commissioning and commercial operations.
  
• Manage production, packing, quality, maintenance, warehouse and dispatch.
  
• Drive production planning, productivity, cost control and operational efficiency.
  
• Manage raw material, packaging, inventory and vendor/supplier operations.
  
• Coordinate inbound/outbound logistics, transporters, 3PL and distribution.
  
• Build and lead plant manpower and operational teams.
  
• Own plant budgets, KPIs, cost optimization and operational performance.
  
• Ensure compliance with quality, food safety, EHS and statutory requirements.
  
• Drive process improvement, waste reduction and resource optimization.
  

Candidate Profile:

• 12+ years of experience in FMCG / Food & Beverage / Consumer Products / Manufacturing / Distribution.
  
• Strong experience in plant/factory operations and greenfield/brownfield projects.
  
• Good understanding of manufacturing + supply chain + warehouse + logistics + distribution.
  
• Experience in large-team management, vendor management, inventory and P&L/budgeting.
  
• Hands-on, commercially oriented leader with strong problem-solving and execution skills.
  

Preferred: Candidates from FMCG, Food & Beverage, packaged foods, consumer products, semi-manufacturing or distribution-led businesses.
