Plant Engineer

Role & responsibilities

• Prepare monthly preventive maintenance and calibration schedule by taking input from Annual schedule and predictive maintenance outcome and adhere the same.
• Ensure proper condition monitoring and Reporting of the equipment and act according to it.
• Working & implementation on Major Modifications involved in Mechanical Works
• Day to day planning of job activities and Manpower handling in Mechanical Works
• Implement safe work practices to avoid any accident in plants.
• Training of Subordinates and improve their skill and competency.
• Monitoring availability and usage of spares and consumable and initiate procurement process.
• Daily monitoring of N2, H2, AIR & NG consumption in their area and give feedback.
• Issue of Materials from stores, indent, follow-up with purchase regarding requirement of materials
• Working in Focused improvement projects as a leader & member
• Coordination of AMC/ARC related to MHE-EOT Crane
• Execution of new Projects related activities related to mechatronics.
• To ensure availability of plant equipment for un-interrupted and smooth operation up to its required capability.
• Co-ordination with Other department for planning & implementation of maintenance related activity
• Breakdown Analysis of failure equipment with corrective & preventive action.
• Reviewing the requirement of consumable & spares.
• Raising the indent of spares & equipments. Follow up with purchase department for timely delivery.
• Development/ Indigenization/ Modification spares& Equipment's
