Planning Professional

Role Summary

We are looking for an experienced Planning Professional (NICMAR Alumni preferred) to manage project planning, scheduling, and monitoring activities. The role involves developing detailed project schedules, tracking progress, and ensuring timely delivery of projects through effective coordination with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities

Project Planning & Scheduling

• Develop comprehensive project plans, schedules, and baselines using MS Project (MSP)/P6
• Define project scope, milestones, timelines, and resource allocation
• Prepare WBS (Work Breakdown Structure) and activity sequencing

Monitoring & Control

• Track project progress and update schedules regularly
• Identify delays, risks, and critical path activities
• Recommend corrective actions and recovery plans to meet deadlines

Reporting & Documentation

• Generate daily/weekly/monthly progress reports and MIS dashboards
• Present project status to management and stakeholders
• Maintain proper documentation for all planning activities

Coordination & Stakeholder Management

• Work closely with project teams, contractors, and consultants
• Ensure alignment between execution, procurement, and planning teams
• Support decision-making through data-driven insights

Risk & Cost Monitoring

• Identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies
• Support cost monitoring and forecasting in coordination with project teams

Required Qualifications & Skills

Education

• Graduate in Engineering (Civil/Mechanical/Electrical)
• NICMAR (National Institute of Construction Management & Research) Preferred

Technical Skills

• Mandatory: Hands-on expertise in MS Project (MSP)/P6
• Strong knowledge of planning concepts, scheduling techniques, and project controls
• Understanding of project lifecycle and construction processes

Soft Skills

• Strong analytical and problem-solving ability
• Excellent coordination and communication skills
• Ability to work under deadlines and manage multiple priorities

Preferred Skills

• Experience in large-scale industrial/commercial/corporate projects
• Exposure to cost control and risk management practices
