Planning Manager - Civil

Role & responsibilities

• Develop and maintain detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 / MS Project.
• Prepare baseline programs, look-ahead schedules, recovery plans, and revised schedules.
• Plan and monitor civil construction activities from mobilization through project completion.
• Track actual progress against planned progress and identify delays, critical activities, and schedule deviations.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports for management and clients.
• Analyze project delays and prepare mitigation and recovery plans.
• Monitor critical path activities and ensure timely completion of milestones.
• Prepare manpower, material, equipment, and resource requirements in coordination with project teams.
• Review contractor/subcontractor schedules and monitor their performance against approved programs.
• Prepare progress measurement, S-curves, histograms, productivity reports, and other planning reports.
• Coordinate with the project team to resolve planning and execution constraints.
• Support preparation of EOT (Extension of Time) claims, delay analysis, and supporting documentation where required.
• Participate in project review meetings and present schedule/progress updates to management and clients.
• Maintain proper planning records, schedule updates, and project documentation.
• Ensure planning activities are aligned with contractual requirements and project objectives.
