About this role
We have job opportunity for Planning Manager position.
Project Planning:
Develop and maintain detailed project schedules using tools like Primavera P6 or MS Project.
Define project scope, objectives, milestones, and deliverables.
Allocate resources effectively to align with project timelines and budgets.
Monitoring and Reporting:
Track project progress against schedules and budgets.
Generate regular progress reports, including S-curves, Gantt charts, and dashboards.
Highlight deviations and recommend corrective actions to mitigate risks.
Stakeholder Coordination:
Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and contractors to ensure alignment on goals and tasks.
Facilitate communication between various teams to resolve scheduling conflicts and resource allocation issues.
Risk Management:
Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies. Monitor critical paths and key dependencies to ensure timely project delivery.
Cost Management:
Assist in preparing cost estimates and budgets.
Monitor actual expenditure against forecasts, identifying variances and suggesting solutions.
Quality Assurance: Ensure compliance with project standards, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
Support audits and implement feedback to improve project planning processes.
Educational Qualification: Degree in Civil Engineering (mandatory). Certification in project management (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) or planning tools (e.g., Primavera P6) is highly desirable.
Experience 10+ years of relevant experience in project planning, scheduling, and monitoring in industries such as construction, infrastructure, or manufacturing. Proven experience with project management software such as Primavera P6, MS Project, or equivalent.
